French for new

French For New is an events company, founded at the twilight of the year 2021 and founded on the principle of community and togetherness. The brainchild of DJ duo Nouveaux (Thubelihle Nkutha & Neo Mosito) after enjoying success with their first event property, Soundset Sunday, French For New is a company that centres its values and goals around the idea of community, the inherent sense of belonging that comes with being a part of a greater group and the potential for inclusion of newcomers.

Soundset Sunday, our first event property, was formed in 2019 as a means to serve the fan base that Nouveaux had cultivated in their time (3 years at that point) as DJs. The success of which allowed the duo to establish other properties such as the night-time property, A Rare Experience as well as our live performance property, Eclectic Sessions. All three of these properties (and by extension everything we do) are unique in their own respects but have the overarching goal of serving communities with unique auditory, culinary and visual experiences that they can form a sentimental bond with, as well as to link relevant brands with the relevant opportunities for the purpose of brand awareness as well as gathering pertinent insights.

When I’m on the clock I’m running & analysing numbers and otherwise cosplaying a Swiss Army Knife. When I’m off the clock, I’m enjoying my music and cosplaying Gordon Ramsey.

When I’m on the clock, anything that requires an eye or an ear is on me. When I’m off the clock, I’m most likely in another country sipping on something and looking good doing it.
